Precious Metals Transactions (Principal)

Encompass is itself a buyer of precious metals in bar, coin, dust, dore' or nugget form.While we will purchase refined metals, our customers are generally small to medium-sized mining operations providing raw gold, gold dust, and dore bars.  Sellers should be willing to prove themselves upfront, however, the speed of our response and ease of the transaction should more than outweigh any initial inconvenience or expense.  

Please note that Encompass will NOT prepay expenses for an unproven Seller under ANY circumstances and we are not currently interested in transactions requiring financial instruments or standby letters of credit.

Sellers will ship the product to Miami International Airport where it must clear US Customs.  On larger shipments, we can make arrangements for our local Customs Broker to clear the shipment through Customs at the Seller's expense.  Depending on the discount offered, Encompass may reimburse some or all of the Seller's expenses at completion of each transaction.

Please note that there is a 0.17% duty on incoming precious metals. We cannot process shipments without a certificate of origin and supporting Customs documentation as per Federal Law and the Patriot Act.  Please also note that Miami-Dade County requires all couriers to be licensed.  Product couriered by an unlicensed individual is subject to seizure and forfeiture by local authorities.  If you need a licensed courier to accompany your shipment, please inquire.  

The product will be delivered to our refinery where our refinery will re-assay or re-refine the product for purity.  From acceptance at the airport to pay out to the mining operation, the process generally takes 7-10 business days.  Buyer may attend the melting of the first shipment to review the operation.  The refinery acts as receiver and processor and provides the Seller and Encompass with a detailed weight report and assay report.  Sellers are paid based on the amount of pure metal refined from each shipment.  Proceeds can be paid by check or wire transfer and Encompass is willing to enter into long-term agreements to purchase up to 500kg of Unrefined Product per week.  Larger purchases can be arranged after several successfully completed transactions.
